Biography

Daniel Hudspeth is the Founder and CEO of Discover Health Management Group (formerly MyDocPlus LLC). Prior to founding the company, Daniel served as the founder and managing partner of Starting Gate Partners, a search fund focused on the healthcare services industry. Before Starting Gate, he held various senior roles in the education and non-profit sectors. Daniel earned his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Carolina Venture Fellow. Daniel earned a BA in Political Science from Davidson College. He lives in Petaluma , CA with his family.

Biography

Dan joined Discover Health in 2021 and has spent his career working in the healthcare industry. Previously, he worked at Humana on their digital health team increasing access to care for homebound older adults. Prior to Humana, Dan worked at VAL Health, where he focused on the applications of behavioral economics as a consultant and product manager. Prior to VAL Health, Dan was a health and benefits consultant at Aon Hewitt in New York City.

Dan holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.  In his free time, Dan enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Aly, and long walks and adventures with their mini Goldendoodle, Arlo.
